Physical Test for Examiners / Preventive Officers / Excise Inspectors
We got detailed description of Physical Test for Examiners/Preventive Officers/Excise Inspectors from SSC CGL 2013 selected Examiner. His PET conducted in Chennai.
PET was on Aug 18, 2015.
Reporting time 8:00 am.
Venue – Central Revenue Quarters, Anna Nagar, Chennai.
33 persons were called (30 examiners and 3 POs)
Height of each member was measured with correct measures as given in notification of SSC. In this step all 33 Officers met the height requirement.
Task was – Walking 1.6 kms in 15 mins. Quite easy it was and most of the batch did it within 9 mins.
Chest measured with 5 cms of expansion. I was rejected 2 times because of lesser expansion of chest. But finally 3rd time i was able to do it. For this step – One must know the correct way to expand his chest.
Task was – Cycling of 8 kms (i.e. 8 complete rounds of ground of perimeter of 1 km). It was a bit tough and was done with proper arrangement and supervision. One superintendent of excise was there to watch us. Time was noted down for start and end. It was done in the batches of seven. Arrangement of cycles was done by Chennai CBEC staff and we each paid 50 rs for this.
This was the last step which completes the entire test – Getting medical certificate. We all went to the allotted hospital. But there medical was just a formality. We went to the doctor assigned to us. His assistant made the arrangement and the medical certificates were signed with in an hour. Then we went to CBEC office to deposit all the documents including Attestation form, character certificate and identity certificate.
This was all about physical and medical at Chennai.
